It all started when a mum needed a babysitter and, and it quickly became apparent, so did several other local families. Rockmybaby® started operating in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand in 2006. Before long they had rolled out into other regions throughout New Zealand. Through an extensive network of qualified contacts they have become the largest operating Nanny & Babysitting Agency throughout New Zealand. In the first five months of 2009, five franchise regions were sold, and within two years all 26 regions were sold. The following year expansion into Australia meant Rockmybaby® becoming the largest Australasian Nanny & Babysitting agency. Switzerland was launched in late 2012 followed by London and Israel in 2013.
Rockmybaby® is all about online innovation and being unique. Clients love the fact that they can make their bookings online, in their own time, in the middle of the night if they like - without having to speak to anyone. Once the babysitter accepts the booking, their profile (which outlines a brief personal history of the sitter) is emailed to the client, then the sitter rings to introduce themselves. Rockmybaby® is in the virtual world but our babysitters and nannies forge lasting relationships with our clients. Rockmybaby® is currently the only Europe, Swiss, New Zealand and Australian web-based babysitting and nanny operation that allows clients to book a sitter directly and pay their agency fee online.
